When making your choice to buy a pool heat pump. Three of the most important
things are: the reputation of the manufacturer and the length of time they had
been in business, the quality and the reliability of the heater and the
efficiency (COP) of the heater. If you want to have the lowest electric
bill look for heaters with the highest COP.
All of these qualities are very important in your selection of a pool heat pump.
If one is missing then it might not be the best selection for your home. We are
here to help guide you to pick the highest quality heat pump from some of the
most reliable manufacturers that will give you the highest savings in
operational costs and will give you and your family many years of warm water and
happy pool experiences.

Please note that FPL is using a heat pump in their calculator with a COP of 5. That is representative of a heat pump with an efficiency on the low side. Most heat pumps manufactured today have a COP that is higher than that, thus your savings should be more than what you see on FPL's heat pump cost analysis. Also, since they use has prices that we haven't seen in years; your savings over gas will be much greater than the calculator's example.
