To all our friends in Missouri: We want you to know that Missouri is a popular destination for our heat pumps in the United States. We have thousands across the Midwest. Some of our customers use our heat pumps with the hot gas defrost to heat in temperatures below 50 degrees. We still find that many pool contractors only know about gas heaters and that some of our customers have been given a hard time about their decision to use a heat pump by their local heating professionals. We want you to know that in over 24 years in this business and almost 7 years on the Web we have not had one customer from Missouri who regretted his decision to use a heat pump to heat their pool. In fact we find that once somebody gets one in a certain area, they convert their friends and neighbors away from gas and oil to the most efficient technology available to heat pools; heat pumps. The Kopec Heat pump
arrived on Wednesday by way of the lift truck and they placed the pump
on the pad for me. I called my heating/cooling contractors - they came
that morning and hooked it all up and we turned it on Thursday about
noon, the pool's temp was 82, by 5:00 p.m. the water temp was 90
degrees. This is the first time the water temp has been over 85 let
alone 90 all summer.
