To all our friends in New York:

New York is our 3rd most popular destination for swimming pool heat pumps in the United States. From the North Country on the St. Lawrence River to Long Island, we have your State covered in heat pumps. Even with the high electric rates on Long Island, the heat pump is still so much less money to run than gas heaters.
All my friends in New England have heat pumps and some were still swimming in the second week of October last season. Gas and oil cost too much money these days. We want you to know that in over 24 years in this business and almost 7 years on the Web we have not had one customer from New York who regretted his decision to use a heat pump to heat their pool. In fact we find that once somebody gets one in their neighborhood, the next year they convert their friends and neighbors away from gas and oil to the most efficient technology available to heat pools; heat pumps.

            The unit arrived Monday morning.  The electrical work and plumbing were finished by noon Tuesday; the unit started right up and passed all the "tests" (water off, water on, etc.).  We took your advice and installed a solar cover at the same time.  We had opened the pool late this year (actually a week before we ordered the heater) and the water was way too cold for anyone to use it.  The Heat Siphon  raised the temperature 12 degrees on the first day and another 10 degrees on the second!  The kids are complaining that the water's too warm (the wife doesn't think so).  In any case, it's obvious we will finally get the usage we always wanted out of the pool.

           Obviously, we are very satisfied with the heater.  Thanks again-
