Genesis GS SERIES

The Genesis GR (High Efficiency) and GS (Ultra High Efficiency) Series provides the highest level of climate control efficiency, noise reduction, flexibility, and serviceability. Offered in eleven sizes, four horizontal air flow patterns and four vertical air flow patterns, the GR/GS Series provides a wide variety of flexibility for installation and service. A Blower Inlet Ring allow servicing of the motor and the blower wheel without removing the Blower Housing. In addition, GR/GS Horizontal units may be changed from straight or back discharge in the field, preventing last minute design changes from bringing jobs to a standstill. Once a GR/GS is installed, its serviceability will make it a clear favorite. For example, the new design allows servicing of the blower housing assembly without disconnection of the duct work. In addition, removable panels and access from three sides of the compressor section provides more flexibility in locating units in confined spaces.

Sizes: 1/2 to 6 tons (1.5 to 18.4 kW cooling in 50 Hz only).

Genesis GR (High Efficiency) Series

Low Operating Cost

• Already exceeds ASHRAE 90.1 Standards for 2002 energy efficiency minimums
• Cooling EER’s to 13.3 provide high efficiency operation, heating COP’s to 4.6
• Flow rates as low as 1.5 gpm per ton allow the use of smaller circulating pumps
• Low pressure drop heat exchangers mean less pump wattage required
  

Low Installation Cost

• Factory installed isolation brackets reduce field labor (horizontal units only)
• Internally trapped condensate drain reduces field labor (vertical units only)
• Flexible discharge orientation can easily be changed in the field (horizontal units only)
• Optional internally-mounted desuperheater reduces field labor
• Water connections are internally anchored - no backup wrench required
• Electrical control box is corner mounted for easy field connections and is easily removed for additional compressor access
• Optional factory-installed motorized water valve and flow regulator are mounted within the cabinet
• Factory-installed circulating pump can be internally mounted for primary/secondary pumping

Compact Cabinets for All Applications

• Horizontal cabinets designed to fit low profile installations are the lowest available in the industry
