The Summit pool heaters consist of a Copeland Scroll
compressor; an electronic service control card, and a heat exchanger
with titanium fin-type tubing that comes with a ten-year corrosion-free
warranty. In addition, they each include a lifetime maintenance-free
UV-treated plastic cover to provide protection.

Titanium Heat Exchanger
The rifled titanium tubing inside Summit heat exchanger, swirls the
water and Freon efficiently and since it's titanium, it will never
corrode or wear out. The results are more heat for less money.
Scroll Compressor 10% more efficient
The Scroll compressor is a quiet energy-efficient compressor with only
two moving parts
Thermostatic Expansion Valve
The thermostatic valve protects the compressor by ensuring the exact
quantity of Freon is in the system to maximize energy efficiency.
UV Resistant ABS Cabinets
The Summit heat pump cabinet is manufactured using ABS plastic to resist
damage from ultraviolet rays and extreme heat or cold weather conditions
Electronic Temperature Control
The energy saving electronic temperature control is accurate within half
a degree.
Summit Heat Pump Compressor Cover
The compressor cover was developed by and is exclusively manufactured by
Summit heat pumps to reduce the noise of the compressor and to protect
components from extreme weather conditions.
Sealed Fan Motor
The fan motor is sealed and lubricated to ensure dependable maintenance
free operation.
Wire Net Protector
All Summit heat pumps are manufactured with a durable, yet attractive
plastic wire net to protect the inside of the heat pump as well as the
outer fin evaporator coil.
Blade
Summit heat pumps exclusive new blade has increased efficiency and
further reduced noise levels from the previous generation of Summit heat
pump models.
Filter
The filter protects the sealed system from humidity and contaminants.
