What scandalous things our competitor's are saying about us?
"Let
the dogs bark Sancho, it's a sign that we keep advancing" Over the last 23 years we have met some great people that including the owners of many competing firms . To this day, we work with hundreds of competitors by giving them access to hard to find parts and technical help if they need it. We are one of the few companies that have also repaired heat pumps since they first became popular in the early 80's. I am certified to repair heat pumps and have attended many of the factory schools over the years. But you didn't access this page to read the good stuff, so let me tell you the more interesting comments that our competitors have told about us over the years. 1.- Some pool dealers say that if you buy from us at a discounted price and not them that there is no warranty. I respond to this by saying, it doesn't matter who you buy your heater from, the manufacturer is responsible for all warranties. 99% of pool companies can't repair heat pumps because you need a refrigeration certification to properly diagnose and repair these heaters. The manufacturer is always responsible for sending out a qualified heat pump professional. 2.- There is one competitor who has said for years that we sell heaters out of our garage. Well for the first time in my life I have a large two car garage with space for an office, but at this time in my life I think I would rather use it for my hobbies and keep my office warehouse for business. 3.- I've heard this same one say that I left Florida because of too much regulation. I'm not exactly sure what that means, but since we are "out of state" for Florida I can ship to any state in the union and don't have to charge sales. Except Washington, sorry Washington. But my prices in Washington even with the tax are less than available locally. 4.- I've heard that I have low prices because my heat pumps must be rebuilt. That is the reason their price is $1,000.00 to $2,000.00 more than mine. I wouldn't sell a rebuilt heat pump even if I could find one. I don't believe in starting out with someone else's problems, we only sell top of the line brand new models. 5.- Often a competitor will say that the one and only heat pump they sell is the only quality heater on the market. What can I say to that? There are about 50 heat pumps engineers out there that will disagree with them. Since I have worked with all these manufacturers, some since 1983, I know who is doing a good job and who is lacking in quality and I'm not afraid to tell you who they are.
6.- We are a faceless internet retailer. I'm happy to tell you
that everybody here has a face. 7.- Internet businesses come and go. This is our 23rd year in the heat pump business and we have grown every year, we have no intentions of going out of business. I have sold and serviced just about every heat pump ever made and I have advised a few factory engineers on possible improvements in operation and ease of serviceability. 8.- We only sell heaters on which we make the highest profit on. It is true, we are in the business to make a profit and we will sell you almost any brand in the world that you want. There are some exceptions, I will not sell you certain brands that I have been disappointed in. It is my truest desire to sell you the heat pump that I think you are going to be happiest with and have it perform to your expectations for many years to come. I want you to be able to tell the world how happy you are with the heat pump which I helped you pick out. 9.- We don't service pools. After spending over 20 years working in the Florida sun ... I don't think I need to clean pools to give you the heat pump that you like. Anyway, a pool heat pump is just a big air conditioner in reverse. 10.- We are location less. If it wasn't for my wife's second cousin who knew this guy in college, who had a friend at work, who lent me a cot in the backroom to sleep...I'll be in trouble. (We have plenty of large warehouses) 11.- I understand that when your heat pump supplier is confronted with my pricing, they will became defensive and threatened by the possibility of losing a sale. When I was in that position many years ago, I always offered to install the parts or equipment that my customer bought on their own, as long as I was charging for my labor I was happy. My customer knew they could count on me to be there for them and I never punished them by abandoning the job because they did their homework and found a better price. 12.- Stay tuned I'll add more as soon as they come in. Since I just printed these, I'm sure the competition will get more creative.
