Nigel bought his Jandy heat pump back in 2004. The display failed while it was still under warranty. He contacted us to help him get service from the factory.

I want to let you know that I received my heat pump and wish to thank you for arranging the delivery which was just perfect, including a lift on the truck and carrying the heat pump right to the pool equipment pad. I finally got it connected and now working this week. It's great. Thank you again. (Things happen a little slower in Hawaii)

Wanted to take a moment to thank you all for the new heat
pump. Lou (sales) was very helpful in informing us on what we
needed to get going. We live in Navarre, Fl. Outside of the
Destin area and wanted to extend our pool season a few months
each year. The purchase was very easy and delivery was prompt
and professional. I had the pad poured, unit wired and piping in
place in about 2.5 hours …. We were putting warm water in the
pool less than 24 hours from delivery of our new system. Thanks
again. Heat Siphon SX5.0, Navarre FL, October 2006 |

Guys, I really appreciate your rapid response for the recent
upset. Thanks again and rest assured I will spread your name
to everyone and anyone I know with a pool or going to get a
pool. By the way am I supposed to contact the number you sent
for pickup? Or should we just wait to here/ Thanks again, this
heater / cooler is working fantastic!!!!!!! Steve ![]() Jandy AE2500 Heat & Cool, Chesapeake VA, December 2005
Dear
Steve:
It is
good to hear back from you. The warehouse or the freight
company will call you when they are ready for a pick up.
If you don't hear anything by next Friday please send me
an e-mail and I will request it again. I would love to
see some photos of the heater and the pool if you ever
get a chance. Enjoy your pool. I am here if you need me.
Sincerely,
Marcus
Miller
* 10 Months after Steve purchased his Jandy AE2500 he discovered that he didn't receive the Heat & Cool model. We discovered that the box was mislabeled from the factory. This has never happened before. We picked up his old heater and sent him the proper one at no cost for him. |

Thanks for your quick response. I will give Jack a call on
Monday. I wish all companies were as dedicated to customer
service as yours is. From questions on which heater to buy to
service after the sale – you are number one with me. Thanks
again for all of your help and guidance. Jandy AE2500, Tampa, FL, April 2006

Hi Marcus; Well the heater is keeping the water at 84 degrees without a problem. My kids love it and send their thanks to the "pool heater guy" that helped Dad get it going. After all it's Sept 19th in the Cleveland area, we had a high only of 70 degrees today but we're still in the pool today - Awesome!! Thanks for all your help and patience that you exhibited with an online purchaser and home installer throughout the process. I'll write you up a nice letter and some photos for your reference collection but I couldn't be happier with you and your firm for helping me get this pool heater thing right the first time. I will most certainly promote you and your firm at any given chance. It's nice to know there are reputable businesses such as "poolheatpumps.com" out there. Sincerely, Bob ![]() Jandy AE2000, North Ridgeville OH, July 2006

Mark, Looks kind of rough, but there will be a retaining wall across the front and side, and the area will be a lot larger. Thinking in terms of a larger pool next year, but will have to check the capacity of the pump to heat it first. Wife and daughter love the water temp.

The heat pump arrived in England three days after I ordered
it from you that’s what I call service!!! I only wish I had
ordered my solar cover from you I ordered that in good old
England and it took three weeks and then they forgot to pack the
castors!!
By buying a far superior pump than the one we could get in
England I still saved in excess of 60% and yes I agree with all
your other clients that your service and product are second to
none it has been an absolute pleasure doing business with you.

Marcus and future customers, It was a lot more work then I thought having to run 130 feet of wire and about 15 feet of plumbing but it was well worth the the time. The heat pump is even better then I thought it would be. I purchased a unit that was larger then needed for my pool but it runs less and heats it up faster. Marcus was so much help in deciding what unit and brand would be good for me. He NEVER failed to answer a question or email and all he advice was sound without the pressure or sales pitch you get from so many other companies. I can not say enough about his company or Marcus himself. Here are the Pictures of the final product.....

Marcus,
Attached are photos of the pool heaters and the
swimming pool. By switching from propane to your
heaters and pool covers, our fuel bill went
from $5,000.00 per month to $200.00 per week. I
really never believed that the savings would be so
great. I cannot thank you enough for
your help and also for your great service. If you
have potential customers that have doubts, they are
welcome to call me.

Hi Marcus,
Thanks again. We ended up adding a 4x4 slab to set the
unit on. Plumbing installation took less than 1/2 day.
Looking to have it wired up and working in about a week.
We're attaching some pics of the final job. You're welcome
to post them if you like.
Sincerely,

Marcus: Just a quick note, I'm the guy from NJ you wrote that lengthy e-mail about the best heat pump for me and I bought your heat siphon and it's up and running great. Your info was so good I thought I would ask you about pool pumps. I want one that is both quiet and efficient. I have a 23,000 gal in-ground pool and am thinking of the Sta-rite Max E-Glass pump 1hp. Do you have any knowledge on this matter? Regards,
Thomas Heat Siphon SX 5.0, NJ March 2006
Dear Thomas:
The WhisperFlo by Pentair and Jandy Stealth are supposed
to be quite and efficient. I can get you any one that
you need if you give me the model and manufacturer. For
that size pool I usually go 1 or 1.5 HP.
Sincerely,

Marcus- Thank you for all that you have done for me. You pointed me in the right direction, educated me on heat pumps, and gave me some recommendations, and prices. After lots of shopping around, I came back to you. Not only for your support and knowledge, but you absolutely had the best prices out there. Everything you promised was delivered on. The heater is installed and works like a champ. It's heating the water twice as fast as the old unit. I couldn't be happier. Thanks for everything, Patrick [follow up email after need to service the heat pump] Marcus- Jack called me from the airport (he was traveling that day) to assure me that I was going to be taken care of. 30 minutes later someone from their office called me and said they would be out to the house the next day. Well, they came and corrected the problem (a thermo sensor wire had loosened up during transit) it was a quick fix, and the heater is working like a champ. You were absolutely right about their customer service. It was top notch, just like you said, and it was my biggest factor in selecting Jandy in the end. Thanks, Patrick Jandy AE2500 Riverview, FL, February 2006

* I don't really have a bad feedback to post here because my customer didn't give me the ok to publish it. I sold him a heater 6 years ago and someone had stepped on one of the PVC pipes that was attached to the heat pump. As a result it broke the heat exchanger. In a series of 4 or 5 emails, I was working with him to find the best way to handle this, as his parts warranty had expired a year before. As I was contacting the manufacturer to see if we could get the parts to him for the wholesale cost. He told me he was going to start a website explaining how dissatisfied he was with the manufacturer's engineering ability and also me and my company. I offered to save him the trouble by asking him if I could post his emails on my website to air his disappointment and give the site some sort of balance to the positive emails that we have received. He did not respond to my emails after that point, so I took that as a no. The same thing happened a few years ago, I had an "engineer" explained to me in a long email why heat pumps didn't work. I was so impressed with his passion, that I asked him too if I could post his thoughts on my site. A renegade engineer who has discovered something that the best engineers in the industry had overlooked all these years needs to have a forum to get his ideas out, I thought. Instead of taking me up on my offer to share his thoughts with the world, he disappeared too. Marcus Miller
