Will a pool heat pump work in my area? We have heard numerous times from customers that their pool guy has discouraged them from getting a swimming pool heat pump, instead of a gas heater, because heat pumps won’t work for their area.
We have sold heat pumps to people all over the country (and outside the country) that have been so happy in how great their heat pump works and the money that they’ve saved!
Did you know that you can heat a swimming pool year round? Typical swimming pool heat pumps shut down between 45 and 50 degrees depending on brand, location, weather and other factors. Depending on the application, Heat & Cool heat pumps can operate at lower temperatures, sometimes as low as 35 degrees!
If you are interested in extending your swim season and using a more economical heating solution for your pool, check out the various heat pumps we have!
Usually people think of pools as too cold to swim in. But with this fantastic weather that our country is experiencing, many areas of the country are so hot, that their pools are too warm to swim in (go figure).
If you are one of those folks where going for a swim sounds like a dreadful idea, why not consider getting a Heat and COOL heat pump (ie: a pool chiller). You’ll be able to enjoy the luxury of using your pool even more! Extend your season when the temperatures are cool… and still be able to enjoy your pool when the temps are too high!
