Energy Efficient & Compatible with Variable-Speed Pumps
The SQ140R features a patented hydraulic design that adds only 2 PSI at 45 GPM, enhancing compatibility with two-speed and variable-speed pumps. This reduces the RPM needed to achieve the same flow rate, saving money by lowering pump power consumption. It also decreases run time for single-speed pump applications, saving on energy costs.
Durable, Corrosion-Proof Cabinet
The SQ140R features a corrosion-proof cabinet with louvered side panels that protect the evaporator coil while ensuring optimal airflow. It's rust, fade, and impact-resistant and includes a built-in drain pan for efficient condensate management.
Easy-to-Use Controls & Integration
Equipped with microprocessor controls and a digital display, the SQ140R offers user-friendly operation, weather-protected control, and easy integration with external controllers for both heating and cooling modes. Most common variable-speed pumps can be programmed using the Smart Controller (HP9 or HP11).
PoolSync® Technology
With PoolSync® Technology, you can remotely control heating, cooling, and Auto-Temp modes via the PoolSync® app. This feature also allows real-time diagnostics, performance updates, and troubleshooting for reliable year-round operation.

This Limited Warranty applies to the following models (all versions and voltages) purchased through an authorized dealer and installed within the contiguous United States on or after January 1, 2025. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase, as verified by the owner/operator’s proof of purchase. If proof of purchase is unavailable, the warranty begins 60 days from the date of manufacture, as verified by factory production records.
